Penrose Street

Penrose Street renovations included a new entrance, lounge, kitchen, dining, bathroom and laundry. Firstly a 1970’s addition was removed and replaced with a 60m2 building as per the original 1930’s style. Bell curved cedar shingles, timber sill separators, timber double glazed windows with bi-fold doors completed the project.

The Complete Building Company work with an ‘open book’ policy. All trade invoices and staff time sheets are available by request throughout the project. Our philosophy is to work to the high standard in everything we do. We pride ourselves on our eye for detail and the ability to constantly maintain the highest levels of quality and workmanship.

All renovations have surprises. We prioritise open and honest communication with regular client meetings to ensure any unforeseen issues are handled as quickly and efficiently as possible with the result being a minimum of disruption to the budget and schedule.

Where the budget allows we recommend appropriate upgrades to existing plans. A higher grade of insulation, a change to the layout or a higher grade of cladding are all options we like to provide.

I was introduced to Mike by a close friend soon after he started his own business and the recommendation was simple – “Awesome work Ethic and a Quality Tradesman” and I was not disappointed. Im a stickler for attention to detail but I also like to be hands on with the fine design elements and Mike was great to work with, practical and cost conscious when it matters without compromising on the final result.

Mike has a strong relationship with his suppliers and sub-trades and keeps them competitive and honest so they maintain the high standard and goes the extra mile to ensure the right partner is chosen to complete the job and keep it on schedule. Our project hit a few snags along the way, like they can so often, but we always found a logical way round them in close cooperation with the Engineer and Architect, both of whom Mike earned high praise from for his final result.
