Mike started ‘TCBC’ after spending 14 years in the building industry as a foreman doing full project management for jobs both big and small from the Kapiti Coast through to Wellington.
Mike’s career started with 6 years in the timber joinery trade working for a Wellington based company where he served his apprenticeship of 4 years. During this time he made everything from custom designed kitchens, house lots of windows and doors (including bi-folds and exterior sliding doors), interior and exterior staircases to one off pieces of furniture.
As a builder Mike has experience in a wide variety of jobs including new builds, wall removals, leaky home rebuilds, kitchen and bathroom makeovers, decks, fences, retaining walls and the retrofitting of new aluminium joinery. Along with a vast experience in renovating, Mike will tackle all those little jobs such as replacing rusty window hinges and rotten weatherboards, fitting door locks and easing doors.
Mike believes his background in the precision of joinery gives himself and The Complete Building Company a competitive edge over other builders as he has an eye for detail and the ability to produce a high quality finish.
